14th Annual CBAC Will Be Held In Vancouver, British Columbia
Taps Media Inc., publishers of Taps Magazine, Canada’s only national craft beverage magazine, will host the 14th annual Canadian Brewing Awards & Conference on May 26-28, 2016 at the Sheraton Vancouver Hotel & Conference Centre. CBAC 2016 combines two days of industry education and business networking with a gala awards event recognizing the top beers and ciders in over forty style categories.
“Canadian brewers produce some of the top beers in the world, and this event celebrates the best of the best,” said Rob Engman, CBAC founder & president. “The conference provides a unique opportunity for attendees to meet and interact with peers from across the country. Seminars, networking events and social outings are designed to facilitate the information exchange and camaraderie that defines our industry.”
Centred around a large outdoor courtyard and beverage lounge, the newly renovated conference facility and hotel tower provides an ideal setting for the event. Multiple ballrooms will host a large vendor expo, panel discussions, refreshment areas, keynote address and the awards gala.
Full conference tickets include an opening-night reception; a dinner cruise around Vancouver bay; a walking tour of downtown Vancouver breweries; access to all conference areas and sessions; several complimentary meals and beverages; and attendance at the awards presentation and banquet.
Panel discussions will feature industry experts in a wide range of topics, including brewing techniques, trends, best practices, marketing, finance, legal, and export. This year’s vendor expo is expected to surpass last year’s 45 booths.
More details about the event, including the announcement of the keynote speaker, will be available at canadianbrewingawards.com as they are finalized. Last year’s speaker, Joey Redner, founder and CEO of Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, Florida, captivated attendees with his presentation.
